Born in California but spent most of my life abroad. This exposed me to different cultures and people and I am fortunate to carry that experience with me.
My first job was as an English as a second language teacher in Brazil. I obtained my teacher training certificate when I was 16 and it was my profession until graduating from college. After college, I had some odd jobs until I became a corporate trainer for MoneyGram until being laid off when the company shut down operations in the US.
I join companies to make a career, I don’t believe in job skipping. However, I also believe in growth and I’m at a point where my job no longer allows for that and looking for an opportunity that does. I’m driven and passionate. I’m a single father of two who obtained a master's degree while working full time and I do this to ensure my kids get the opportunities I did not.
I would like to find a company that shares my values and can provide the challenge and growth I seek.

Leadership to me is to make sure my team has the tools, knowledge, and clear path to complete their work successfully. I do this by being there for them whenever they require support, removing obstacles, providing resources, guidance, trust, and embracing their ideas. In all, the project manager’s job isn’t to complete projects but to empower the team to do so.
I believe that my mindset and work ethics make me highly qualified for positions of responsibility. First, my ability to lead cross-functional teams while being sensitive to different cultural and communication styles from having a multicultural background ensures exceptional stakeholder engagement throughout projects. I’m also driven by operational excellence, my working mindset is that there’s no process that can’t be improved, and stagnation inevitably results in failure. Change is the driving force to success.
